Tourism Relief Fund - Central Counties Tourism
The Government of Canada, through FedDev Ontario, has entrusted Central Counties Tourism (CCT) to administer the Tourism Relief Fund for municipalities, not-for-profit organizations and private businesses, within the regions of York, Durham and Headwaters, to achieve their destination development and tourism capacity building projects.
The permitted funding amount for each applicant is a maximum of $100,000. CCT will make the process as simple as possible, but it is important to note that we are bound by the rules that govern the Tourism Relief Fund.
The Tourism Relief Fund is not providing funds directly to the accommodations, restaurant and retail sectors. However, these sectors can be supported indirectly through destination development projects, administered by municipalities, BIAs, Chambers, etc., with a goal of growing the visitor economy.
